BAND-IT's patented Tie-Dex Clamping
System provides quick, easy, permanent EMP/EMI/RFI shield
terminations on any backshell configuration - with no welding, no
soldering, no crimping, no magna forming. Low profile,
one-piece, stainless steel Tie-Dex Bands and Tie-Dex Micro Bands
maintain tension under the harshest conditions to eliminate
potential leakage paths and prevent EMP/EMI/RFI
interference. They have successfully passed rigorous shock,
vibration and thermal cycle testing. Our easy-to-use,
portable Tie-Dex Tools, manual or pneumatic, securely apply Tie-Dex
bands at a rate much faster than outmoded termination methods.
