| Type 316 is specified
for use in situations where corrosion is the major problem.
Type 316 stainless steel is an austenitic chromium-nickel/moly
stainless with excellent corrosion resistant properties. It
is used extensively in moist atmospheres and environments where it
is subject to chemicals, salts, acids, and high
temperatures. Inquire about the availability of BAND-IT
Bands in other materials - Inconel, Titanium and Hastalloy. Also
available in mill coil lengths.
