| Giant Band is available in Type 201 stainless steel. It is used for heavy-duty clamping applications. The matte finish of the Giant utility bands is preferred by electric utilities who want stainless band to blend in with steel or concrete poles. | Type 316 is specified for use in situations where corrosion is the major problem. It is used extensively in moist atmospheres and environments where it is subject to chemical, sales, acids, and high temperatures. Type 317L is widely specified for use in pulp and paper mills. Monel 400 has a very high percentage nickel content and is used in special applications where extremely corrosive conditions exist. | ||
