Steel Hose Mender
Hosexpress has a fine selection of shank fittings from Dixon called Shank Hose Menders. These Shank Hose Menders are not for the compressible products such as steam, nitrogen, or air. Working pressures may very on the construction of the hose and the clamping system that may be used along with the application. A coupled length of hose in any size should be tested to 1 ½ times the working pressure and held for 15 minutes without the coupling moving or leaking. This test is in accordance with the R.M.A bulletin for oil suction and discharge hoses.
Specifications include:
- Size from: 1/4in to 12in
- O.P.T. Quality: 200 to 1
- Comes in Zinc plated steel or 316 Stainless steel
- XL is available for extra long applications
